My name is Jen. I'm almost 30. Almost. . .but not quite there yet (thankfully!). I'm married to a wonderful and fantabulous man. I am the mother to 2 adorable little firecrackers. I move around a lot, but I kind of like it. I like seeing new places. However, meeting new people is hard for me. I get settled in with the friends I make at whatever place I'm currently living, so the change is difficult. Never the less, I persevere.
There was a survey going around on Facebook awhile ago that asked you to state 25 things about yourself. I'm sure you've seen it, because it was all over the place. Well, I jumped on that bus and came up with 25 great things about me. . .here they are:
1) I think my husband is AMAZING.
2) The boy and I have a motto: I drive my mom crazy, but she's crazy about me.
3) I am truly blessed and fortunate to have my little girl in my life. In case you didn't know, she has hydrocephalus and the German doc in Landstuhl said I should "terminate" the pregnancy.
4) I would like to visit the German doc (see previous statement) and shove his head up his butt because my girl is absolutely perfect, with no signs of developmental delays.
5) Hubs and I have spent the majority of our time together apart.
6) I live in Old Navy flip flops and Express Jeans.
7) The boy and I have agreed that when he gets older and makes lots of money he's going to buy me a Shelby Cobra.
8) I would love to wear beautiful high heels every day, but my two kids don't make that easy.
9) I love Twinkies and Fluffernutters.
10) I love prosecco and I wish I could hit up the enoteca (run by Mario the Communist) down the street from my Italian apartment and get some right now for dirt cheap.
11) I regret not going to Ireland, Scotland, and Greece when I had the chance.
12) I would like to go to school to get my Masters but I don't know what I would study or what I would do with it.
13) I finished this crazy list earlier today but the girl went crazy so I closed the computer without posting it, so I'm now doing it again.
14) In high school, I went to the mall with two friends. While parking, I hit a BMW, so we backed up and parked somewhere else.
15) There are many places I would rather be than in Monterey, CA. (I have since moved!)
16) I miss all the ladies I hung out with in Italy. They are the BEST!
17) I need to start running and swimming again.
18) From the time I was 9 years old until I was 21, I was a competitive swimmer.
19) Sometimes I feel like the only thing I got out of my college experience was my husband.
20) Blue Crush is one of my all-time favorite movies and it inspires me to want to learn to surf. . .but I'm afraid of sharks biting off my legs.
21) All through high school, I read bodice-ripper novels (thanks to a high school friend).
22) If I could, I would "re-do" my wedding day and change a number of things.
23) My head is full of random knowledge. Sometimes while watching Jeopardy, I answer the questions without knowing how I know the answer.
24) I love watching college football.
25) While I can't sing, I totally rock out in the car and while I'm cooking dinner and my daughter loves it.
